Can be propelled at the rate of from 8.to 14 miles per hour, and will be found unequalled as a means of healthy agreeable exercise and amusement Carriages of this kind heretofore constructed have lacked power and have been found bulky and laborious to work The Patentee of "The RANTOONE" has overcome these objections by a new and Ingenious combination, which consists of connecting Treadles and Hand Levers to the Cranked Axle thereby enabling the operator to work with the bands and feet at one end the same time to the Hand Levers is attached a Cord and Pulley, which communicates with the Axle of the Guide Wheel By this contrivance the Carriage may be turned in any direction required and with the utmost ease,
